Been a min.
Been a bit since i've posted on here. A lot has happened. I was given a chance to judge snowboard Nationals at Copper, CO. It was a good experience. Early mornings and late nights. Plus this MN boy isn't made for altitude. But i rocked it and came away with a solid experience. Daniel Heavens is now in Portland with Silky and been banging out tracks. He was kind enough to send me a few teasers. Shit's nice. He's coming back to MN in late June and hopefully we can get a bit more done here. I will be back with a review for my guy YZE. He's got a new album out and has been on tour with the Alive and Well gang. From the sound of it shit's been going well and everyone's still alive, so that's good to here. I hope we can get them all here in MN for a show in 2010.

Daniel Heavens in Lupton, AZ
What exactly is the correct "American Way"? Not sure, but the tacos sign makes me hungry and the beer sign gives me the shakes!

Acebandage, Aeon Grey and Daniel Heavens FREE DOWNLOAD!
BandageYourHeavensGrey Free Download Here
This free download is a collaboration between Acebandage, Aeon Grey and Daniel Heavens. Four songs composed over an eight hour time period, BandageYourHeavensGrey is a spontaneous piece of work from the Brick and Mortar oasis in Des Moines Iowa. On travels through the Midwest Bandage and Daniel found themselves on Iowa highways with no real destination but home. Stopping in Des Moines for a quick meetup turned into an overnight marathon of writeing and recording. All lyrics were written and recorded during the stay over production provided by Acebandage and Aeon.
I've been working with Teddy Calhoun.
Well, I've worked with Teddy for some time now. He and I have been on a break for about two years with a few studio sessions from time to time. In the past month he and I have really put the hammer to the anvil have been working on releasing a number of songs. He is a visual artist as well as a vocal artist, if you have a second you can check out some things at http://items1.blogspot.com/
I would like to give a big thanks.

Unknown Truth.

Reverb Nation is undoubtedly a fantastic tool for musicians to get there product to the masses. That is if the listener is intune with this website, and you should be. It's a hassle free way to stream and download your favorite jams. From artists like MC Lyte to Lil' Wayne you can load up your own playlist and rock out worry free. There are tons of DIY artists as well, pop, rock, rap; hell even country. It's all there and it almost seems too easy. On Reverb Nation it's also up to the fans to connect with the artists. Sure the artists could send you a personal message, but by no means is this website have the pushy feeling like some of it's fly by night competing social networks. When you have a minute you need to go to www.reverbnation.com and get yourself a profile. It's well worth it.

We Shot a Video! It's just not done yet...
Download Cards = Secret Goodies

This right here is the download card from Daniel Heavens. This card is the only access to otherwise unobtainable music and videos. This card is separate from the album and does not contain any of the material on disc. This gives you the access to unreleased and secret tracks from Daniel Heavens. He's got a few tricks up his sleeve with this gem. Even if you pick up the disc do not forget to grab one of these beauties. They are only 5 bucks. There will be a purchase button soon.
The Album Front and Back, or Back and Front
Well the album is back in our hands and looks great. We're all excited to get it to the masses. We had a semi-official CD release show at The Nomad Pub on the West Bank of Minneapolis. The show was a success, the turn out was good and everyones moods were just right. We added on a late act to the roster which actually consisted of three acts. It was the 4 O'clock Shadow Tour, MC Pig Pen, YZE, and Pat Maine, and they killed it. The rest of the night was comprised of Pearce and Shorty of King Tuesday, Wide Eyes and Derill Pounds. This was a long time coming to get Derill here. We are huge fans of Oshkosh, WI and all it has to offer. All in all, the show and release were a success. Do not hesitate, go out and get yourself a copy of Dan's self-titled album. It's a banger!
"South" he says!

We waved good bye as he pointed south to where his journey was taking him. Daniel and Bandage headed south on 35w with a first stop in Omaha, NE. They played a show at The Hideout with The 4 O'clock Shadow Tour and some locals. The Venue was popping and Patron was spillin' everywhere. After Omaha they headed for Des Moines, IA where they were to record 5 new tracks with Iowa fame Aeon Grey. The session took less than two days and they banged out the tracks. Now on his way back to Minneapolis to pick up his road manager and set back south for a mini tour that will end in New Mexico around the new year and then set off again to the west for some mic ripping and snow shredding. So take a look around and watch out for Daniel Heavens in your town.
